Apex Legends is a team-based shooter with RPG elements. You can play solo or in squads of three, looking to take down the other teams of 20 players and be the last one standing.

As you complete matches and earn coins from defeated opponents, you will steadily unlock all sorts of goodies such as weapons, items for your character/squad, skins for your weapon as well as Apex Packs which contain character banners and unique items that are not available elsewhere.

As you level up and play more, the size of these Apex Packs will increase, with higher tiers giving you better bonuses and more coins. You can also purchase these things using your in-game currency called Apex Coins (not yet available for purchase in the store).

The latest update to the game added a new map (King's Canyon) and several tweaks/bug fixes. A new update is on the way too, and it will likely include more maps and the first few Apex Packs (Beta).
